It would be nice if you can specify different parents for certain sibilings

For instance:

My Brother (let's call him Franck), has a different father, but we share a mother.  Our mother was not married when he was born.  So, unless I am missing something, once you build a tree from my mother and father, when I add my brother, it shows him as a child of my mother and father, which is not correct.

On version 4, (not the last one released, but a VERY stable beta available on the download section), that is possible; upon adding someone you could specify the ancestors.

But, unfortunately, this project is death..., so I think is advisable to upgrade, no hope for waiting for any improvement from the developing team.

By the way, is there any avaliable program "similar" to this one?

If a new version is to be released, please include a feature that allows adding of half siblings. Thanks!

EDIT: Oh and also, adopted siblings and second marriages and just live-in partners and all =)
